Learning about Priyanka’s program, Baby Bliss PT with her was such an eye opener. First off, Priyanaka’s presence, voice and energy is so uplifting and calming at the same time. You can feel and hear her passion and love for what she does right from the start. My daughter is almost 9 years old now and I wish so badly I had this program when she was born. She has so many suggestions and concrete ways of connecting with your child on a physical, mental, verbal and energetic way. She takes you through the nervous system and how it works. She discussing different approaches of not correcting behaviors first which can result in making your child feel like they made a mistake. She explains how repetitive messages such as this can lead to anxiety later in their lives. She gives approaches that will help in validating where child is coming from at the same time keeping them safe. This approach helps to build a relationship between you and your child. It allows your child to be seen and heard and that they are supported above anything else. The program explains ways to empower your child in making “no situations” into “yes experiences” where your child can make new choices. This approach helps set the tone that there are always other options available in situations. And I love the REDO concept. This one I have been using almost on the daily. Sometimes as parents we can react in a way which later we wish we had not. Same goes for our children. Instead of leaving it with regret, negative energy or emotions we can REDO the situation. It means taking accountability of our actions, the ability to apologize and ask to redo the situation. This approach has helped me when I have reacted instead of responding. It has helped me to show even as an adult I too make mistakes. It has shown my daughter that as her mom I do and will make mistakes. It shows her the process of taking accountability of my actions and ability to try again from a caring and open heart what I really meant to communicate. And lastly, movement. This is my favorite. It was actually a woman’s adult dance class where I met Priyanka. Movement involves so many different options: human touch (hugs), use of breath, stretching, dance, yoga poses. Through movement you gain the ability to ground, let go of stored emotions, creativity and ability to have FUN and be a kid with your kid. You are not just teaching them but you join them in the experience and connect on their level while engaging these valuable techniques. These tools they can use (and you too) throughout different seasons/situations of life. I highly recommend this program to other parents or caregivers. The younger the better but you can always adjust it based on the age or their current development milestone.

Priya is hands down the most amazing, empathetic, patient, resourceful therapist you will ever meet. She is one to teach and not critique, she is your child's biggest cheerleader. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about that she does. You can tell she truly does do it from the heart. Our goal for Baby Bliss was to determine if my 9 year old daughter needed physical therapy as she was having problems with her joints hurting after heavy exercise. In the past, I was worried as she was a late walker and needed PT at 16 months. Before our first session, I was a little anxious and determine to know if she needed any type of physical therapy.
After a thorough, 1 hour session, Priyanka determined after a full body examination that she will not need further therapy and provided a number of exercises to strengthen her joints and muscles. She was very honest and open and willing to answer any questions and concerns. I highly recommend Baby Bliss PT. As a parent who was worried about her child, she provided assurance going forward. Physically, my daugher has been doing her exercises and getting much stronger.

The process that mostly helped achieve my goals what the action of bringing awareness into my body.
